Saint Thomas Hellenic School PTO

Our Mission:

Saint Thomas Hellenic School PTO serves as a liaison between the parents the teachers and the community of Saint Thomas with one mission in mind: to provide our children with the most positive and safe educational experience possible.

Our sole purpose is to strengthen, enhance and encourage the educational and social environment ofSaint Thomas Hellenic School students by:

• Working together as a team to provide a positive learning environment for our Saint Thomas students.
• Raising funds to purchase items directly for our school and/or classrooms that enhance the students learning experiences.
• Supporting family and student social interaction by planning family friendly events.
• Giving opportunities for us to come together as a community to help support other groups in need.

Our Goals:

Saint Thomas Hellenic School PTO goals are set-up to complement the school with additional opportunities for parents, teachers and students to learn, socialize, communicate, and grow.

Saint Thomas Hellenic School PTO membership includes all parents, legal guardians and staff atSaint Thomas Hellenic School. The PTO board is made up of volunteer parents.

All PTO funds are raised by fundraisers that encourage community involvement, and are solely used to benefit our Saint Thomas students. Whether they are used for direct classroom funding or school wide events the best interest of our Hellenic School students and families are always first and foremost.

The achievements of theSaint Thomas Hellenic School PTO can be measured in the cooperative spirit with which parents and teachers work together to share their care and concern for our Saint Thomas Hellenic School students.  The PTO’s success can be seen in the student’s appreciation for their school, their teachers and the opportunities these give to them.

The key to keeping the Saint Thomas Hellenic School PTO a successful organization is the involvement of the entire school community.  Your time and energy are the only limitations to the extent that you would like to be involved.
