Dear Parents,

The St. Thomas Hellenic School Year for 2018-2019 will begin on Thursday, September 6, 2018, at 4:30 PM with the Blessing of the Water Service.

To foster better communication between our school and the parents, our Hellenic School teachers are inviting the parents to join them for an open-house on the first day of class. After the blessing, you are asked to join your child in his or her classroom to hear firsthand from the teacher the goals and objectives for the coming year. This will not only be an opportunity to meet your child’s teacher but also to hear the teacher’s expectations for the upcoming academic year. During the open-house the teachers will discuss: classroom schedules, homework assignments, and methods that will be used to provide information to you about your child’s progress in our Hellenic School.

Registration for Saint Thomas Hellenic School for 2018-2019 will open Friday, June 15th to Friday, August 17th through the Saint Thomas Website/Hellenic School ONLY (www.goc-stthomas.com).  A $50.00 late fee will apply for late registration from August 18th. The registration fees are as follows:

First child $475.00       Second child $425.00        Third child $400.00

Parents/guardians MUST BE members in good standing with their Stewardship pledge. Good standing means the Fair Share 2017 contribution is paid in full and Fair Share 2018 pledge must be received and fulfilled by a minimum of 2/3 the week before the start of Greek School. If you belong to another Greek Orthodox Church, please provide a statement of membership from your church signed by the Parish Priest.

We are looking forward to seeing all our children on opening day and faithfully through the year. Thank you for your time and attention in this matter. For further information, please contact Parish office.

Sincerely yours,
