We invite all our families to join us and walk, run or jog with us at the “Phoenix Run”, the 5K/2 Mile Fundraising on Sunday, October 22, 1pm to 4pm. The run/walk will start and finish at the “Danielle Kousoulis” Greek Cultural Center. This family event is sponsored by St. Thomas Youth Organizations, who have planned a fun afternoon for all the family and will benefit our parishioner Antonios “Tony” Tassogloy, “the Gimped-Gamer”.  Registration is $25 per person or $75 for families and additional donation amounts are available for this worthy cause. It was on October 22, 1992, twenty – five years ago, when Tony at age 11, suffered a tragic accident and since then he’s been paralyzed from neck down, confined to a wheel chair using a mouth moderator to write and read. It is his deep faith in God’s love that has always helped and guided him to proceed with his dream of becoming a computer engineer, inspire and fight all challenges! Tony’s motto is: “Nothing is impossible to achieve in this world, if you’re willing to fight for it!”
