| With great joy we are anticipatingthe coming of the Very Reverend Archimandrite Fr. Avgoustinos Psomas,who will be serving our beloved Community, beginning January of 2022.Fr. Avgoustinos received this assignment by His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America, after the appointment of Fr. Christoforos Oikonomidis as the full time Chancellor of our Holy Metropolis of New Jersey.Fr. Christoforos served our Parish with love and devotion for 6 years and he will continue to be with us.Fr. Avgoustinos’ first Service here at St. Thomas will be on the Eve of Epiphany, January 5th. On Sunday, January 9, 2022,His Grace Bishop Apostolos will celebrate the Divine Liturgy here and will present Fr. Avgoustinos to the Congregation. Με ιδιαίτερη χαρά περιμένουμε τηνέλευση του νέου μας Ιερέα, Αρχιμανδρίτου π. Αυγουστίνου Ψωμά, ο οποίος θα υπηρετεί στην Ενορία μας από τις αρχές του Ιανουαρίου.Ο π. Αυγουστίνος διαδέχεται τον Πρωτοσύγκελλο της Μητροπόλεώς μας π. Χριστοφόρο Οικονομίδη, ο οποίος υπηρέτησε στην Ενορία μας για 6 συναπτά έτη.Η πρώτη του Θεία Λειτουργία στον Άγιο Θωμά θα είναι την παραμονή των Θεοφανείων, 5 Ιανουαρίου, ενώ την Κυριακή 9 Ιανουαρίου θα λειτουργήσει στην Ενορία μας ο Θεοφιλέστατος Επίσκοπος Μηδείας κ. Απόστολος, ο οποίος θα παρουσιάσει επίσημα τον π. Αυγουστίνο. |
